The Vulcan Smoke Alarm is powered by 240V mains power and supported by a 9V 10-yr replaceable battery backup.

The alarm is fitted with a test/hush/silence button to facilitate testing of the alarm. The silence function also allows the alarm and alarm system to be silenced in the case of a false alarm.

Once fitted with the RF module, the alarm connects with up to 40 alarms on one wireless network. RF compatibility with the Ranger Battery Powered RF Smoke Alarm.
