Return/ Exchange Policy

Star Sparky – Customer-First Return & Refund Policy 

We want every customer to feel confident and supported when shopping with us. If something isn’t right, we’re here to help. This policy explains how returns, exchanges and warranty claims work at Star Sparky.


1. Easy Returns

If you’ve ordered the wrong item, changed your mind, or simply need help, you may request a return or exchange within:

To start a return, just contact our support team with your order number. We’ll guide you through the process step-by-step.


2. Conditions for Return

To keep the process smooth for everyone, returned items must be:

  • In unused, resaleable condition
  • Including all original accessories, packaging and manuals
  • Not installed or modified
  • Returned within 30 days

If the item has been installed, damaged through use, or missing parts, we may not be able to approve the return unless required by law.


3. Change-of-Mind Returns

We accept change-of-mind returns within 30 days.

Refund options:

  • Full store credit — no fees
  • Cash refund — 10% restocking fee applies

Shipping fees are not refundable unless the return is due to our mistake or a faulty product. Customers will be responsible for the return shipping costs.


4. Damaged or Faulty Products

Your satisfaction and safety come first.

If your order arrives damaged, incomplete, or faulty:

Please contact us within 7 days

We will replace or refund the item at no cost to you.

For warranty issues (after 7 days), see section 7 below.


5. Wrong Item Received

If you have received the wrong product:

  • We will arrange a replacement immediately
  • You will not pay any return shipping fees
  • We will guide you on whether the incorrect item needs to be returned

6. How Refunds Are Processed

Once we receive and inspect the returned item, refunds will be issued within:

5–10 business days

Refund method:

  • Store credit — no fees, applied immediately
  • Cash refund — 10% restocking fee

Refunds do not include original shipping fees unless required by Australian Consumer Law.


7. Warranty Support

Most of our products are covered by a manufacturer’s warranty.

If your product develops a fault within the warranty period:

  • Contact us with your order number/invoice number
  • We will help you and provide you the correct contact details to lodge the warranty claim
  • Replacement, repair, or credit will follow the manufacturer’s warranty terms

This process is free of charge.


8. Order Cancellations

If your order has not yet been dispatched, you may cancel it easily.

  • Free cancellation within 12 hours of ordering
  • After dispatch, the order can be returned following the normal return policy
  • If the order is packed but not yet shipped, a 10% handling fee may apply
